New Job:

Finished up my 2 years at the newspaper and was offered a job through a friend to take over a recruiter position at his company ACA Talent. I will soon be taking over a department which will be contacting small business to get them to use a recruiter (recruiter leasing) as opposed to running newspaper ads.

I had no choice in my mind, offered me starting base salary of what I totalled last year in salary/comission/bonuses, not to mention quartlery bonuses and full benefits covered completely by the employer.

Just thought I'd chime in and update the Trouvist board!

Been rock climbing like a madman... I constantly add new stuff to the climbing section of my pictures. Go check here for new videos and pictures of recent climbing.

I'm going through a strange period right now. I'm experiencing things I didn't know where possible, and it's got my mind twisted. I like to think that I'm pretty rational; this took me by storm because I didn't think it was possible to go through something like this. No I won't be more specific than:

I recently discovered an object worthy of true worship.

We are going to El Potrero Chico, Mexico from the 14th to the 22nd of this month for some hard climbing. We are planning to do a 23 pitch climb (80-100 ft per pitch) which works out to around 2000 feet. Gonna be nuts/awesome/incredible/amazing/wow. I'm currently breaking in my new shoes for outdoor climbing. I normally wear size 9.5 running shoes, my previous climbing shoes were size 8.5. These are also size 8.5, but due to the heel, they are more like a size 5. My toes are literally curled at the front. Here is a picture of them.

Other than that, the love life is good. Girls are appearing from nowhere, and I'm too busy to even take advantage of it/them! Drove to College Station (A&M) twice this week to spend time with one. Nothing physical, but she's awesome.

Too cold to ride. Car is going through its normal throes of pain/anguish/love. Been working a bunch too. No free time is fantastic.
