I was looking through the photos section on this site and saw your nice two hayabusas. Then I went over and saw my parents for a nice dinner one day and my dad has a blue one in the back. Now I am enrolled to take some basic rider safety classes, and get my own bike.

Hey I will post some pictures of me, sort of a day in the life kind of thing so you can see what I have been up to. You would get a kick out of it. Seeing your climbing pictures made alot of sense thinking about how good you were at climbing that wall around your house as kids.

Yeah, we had a bunch of fun doing that, I remember it vividly. And yeah, Hayabusa's are amazing machines. I've done things that would make most people poop themselves if they even knew it was possible. Much respect for your dad too, tell him I say hi, and to ride safe.

I kind of have my heart set on a new 2008 kawasaki ninja 650r. I know someone that can hook me up with it for $5500. The only thing I dont know is if I want to get a kill switch for it or just spring the cost of lojack.

I like the busa, not a bike I'd recommend for someone who hasn't ridden before, it has a lot of unneccesary power for a beginner.

I'd recommend a 750, all though I am a fan of the Honda bikes for pure quality reasons, if you aren't going to get a Honda, go with a Gixer 750, great bike, comfortable and enough power to be happy with for a while.

I'd say get a 600, that's what I had but the only problem is if you start riding a lot you will outgrow the 600 within 6 months and want more power, if not less than 6 months.

Lojack can be helpful, the problem these days if the bike thieves know enough about what they are doing the lojack will be off the bike, and the bike will be in pieces within 30 minutes, if not less.

Not a bad bike, nor a bad price. I always recommend Honda bikes because I am a fan of quality. When working on bikes like Yamaha, Suzuki, and Honda, there are very obvious differences when taking them apart.

If I wasn't going with Honda, I'd say next in like is Suzuki, far more options as well with a Gixer.

Kawi's have solid engines, quick and strong but the bikes themselves I am not a huge fan of. I'd much rather have a BUSA than a Kawi 1400 (or whatever that new monster street bike is)
