Uhm. Elephant walk is a tradition at Texas A&M where all the seniors walk around campus on the day before what used to be bonfire and "look for a place to die." It comes from the idea that seniors have completed their days at A&M and are moving on, making room for the juniors to take their place. It's meant to be a time to reflect on their days as a student at A&M and a time to look at where they began and where they are going. It's a really fun tradition and has been around for a long time. Seniors walk arm in arm around campus, stopping at major campus landmarks and just appreciating their experiences at A&M.

As for the other, I have no idea.

That is very interesting....actually I am impressed, most large gatherings which suposedly have a purpose tend to piss me off, but that sounds very cool...I like!
